Water, wastewater & desalination EPC

Potable water treatment, wastewater treatment and desalination plants

From full EPC delivery of desalination plants to containerised, off-grid potable water kiosks, EPF Systems designs and builds water treatment infrastructure for municipalities, mines and industry — and is the Southern African agent for advanced ceramic silicon-carbide membrane filtration technology.

/ 01

Potable water (WTP)

Municipal and rural drinking water treatment from borehole, surface or municipal feed water.

/ 02

Wastewater treatment (WWT)

Municipal and industrial effluent treatment, including COD reduction for process water reuse.

/ 03

Desalination

Full EPC desalination plants and pre-treatment ahead of reverse osmosis for brackish and seawater sources.

/ 04

Decentralised supply

Containerised, plug-and-play, tap-to-pay water dispensing units requiring no external power.

Ceramic membrane technology

Silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic membranes — a shorter, harder-working path to clean water

EPF Systems represents advanced ceramic microfiltration and ultrafiltration membrane technology in Southern Africa: a 0.1-micron mechanical barrier that removes bacteria, algae and suspended solids without chemical or oxygen balancing, and can be backwashed hard without damaging the membrane.
